The circuit court in St. Louis — long perceived as one of the best Missouri courts for plaintiffs to prevail — was home to three of the top five defense verdicts in 2010. At the same time, the urban circuit claimed just one of the top 20 plaintiff victories, and that case was a class action settlement, not a trial.
