Sen. Claire McCaskill honors St. Louis Judge Edwards on Senate floor | Video

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill took to the Senate floor to praise the work of St. Louis Juvenile Court Judge Jimmie Edwards for his dedication to the community’s youth, especially those who “have nowhere else to turn.”

Innovative Concept Academy provides strict discipline, counseling, and recreational activities for students previously expelled from the St. Louis Public School System to help prepare them for successful lives. Founded in 2009, the school was started with the help of the St. Louis Public School District, organizations and individuals in the community, and the Family-Juvenile Court.
