Gov. Nixon appoints Weedman to ethics commission

Gov. Jay Nixon appointed Charles E. Weedman, of Harrisonville, to the Missouri Ethics Commission. The ethics commission receives and reviews complaints alleging violations of conflict of interest, lobbying and campaign finance disclosure laws.
Weedman is an attorney in the Harrisonville law firm of Crouch, Spangler & Douglas. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Westminster College, in Fulton, and his law degree from the University of Missouri. The governor has appointed Weedman for a term ending March 15, 2016.
