Electrical fire shuts down St. Louis County courts

The St. Louis County Courts Building will remain closed Tuesday and possibly longer after an electrical fire knocked out power on Monday. A fire in the boiler room of the government complex may have been sparked by a lightning strike. The power outage caused St. Louis County courts to set up in the entryway of the courthouse Monday morning to handle essential court business.
