Husch Blackwell is pushing international work with a partnership with a United Kingdom firm.
Husch’s “principal partner” relationship with U.K. firm McGrigors will give both firms preferred supplier status on transatlantic work, according to a press release on McGrigors’ website. The focus will be on infrastructure, financial services, energy and government affairs.
Husch will move its two-attorney London office to the same building that houses McGrigors’ office in the city.
Husch has had an office in London since 1999, but doesn’t compete with U.K. firms, Michael Ray, resident partner at Husch Blackwell in London, said in the press release. “Rather we manage our clients’ U.K. service needs,” Ray said.
Husch Blackwell, which had $279 million in revenue in 2010, is one of the top five law firms based in Missouri. In addition to London, McGrigors has offices in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Qatar and the Falkland Islands.
