St. Louis Probate Commissioner Patrick Connaghan is taking a place on the board of the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges.
St. Louis will benefit from having a seat at the table, Connaghan said in a press release from the St. Louis Circuit Court.
“With the loss of some state-run facilities for psychiatric patients, probate work has become a lot more challenging in Missouri,” Connaghan said.
The association, which was started in 1914, offers a meeting place for judges and commissioners and provides resources and education through an annual conference.
Connaghan, who joined the 22nd Judicial Circuit in 2007, brought video conferencing to the courthouse. He also cut costs in the probate division, according to the press release.
