Heads up, appellate attorneys: The Missouri Supreme Court will switch Thursday to electronic filing.
Lawyers will be required to file some documents electronically for both new and pending cases, according to an announcement on the court’s website.
Juvenile or sealed cases cannot be filed through the system; attorneys should contact the court en banc’s office for instructions on those cases, the announcement said.
The Supreme Court is the first to join the pilot program of the Missouri e-filing System. St. Charles County Circuit Court is slated to be the second on the system, with a Sept. 12 start date.
