Domestic Relations: Child Support – College – Education Information

Where a daughter failed to complete 12 college credit hours in the Fall 2009 semester, failed to provide her father with copies of her Fall 2009 semester grades until the April 2011, failed to complete 12 college credit hours during the Spring 2010 semester, and failed to provide her father with a copy of her Spring 2011 semester at the beginning of the semester but rather in April 2011, the daughter did not satisfy the requirements of Section 452.340.5 which provides for continuation of child support benefits past the age of 18 if the child enrolls in an institution of higher education and the father was entitled to abatement of his child-support obligations during those semesters.

Judgment is reversed and remanded.
