Appellate Practice: Finality Of Judgment – Criminal Case – Sunshine Law Motion

Where defendant appealed the denial of his motion, filed during in his original criminal proceeding, to obtain a 911 tape from a police department, the defendant failed to bring the motion under the Sunshine Law as required by statute, and the trial court’s denial of the motion imposed no sentence so judgment was not final, and the appeal must be dismissed.

Dismissed.
