LAW SCHOOL: Saint Louis University
YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT? My greatest professional accomplishments are developing an understanding of our clients’ businesses and representing them at trial. This includes advising a client in the multibillion dollar sale of a refinery and … representing clients faced with disputes in their distribution of products.
YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE U.S. SUPREME COURT JUSTICE? Sandra Day O’Connor. I have had the opportunity to hear her speak and am inspired by her not only as the first woman appointed to the court, but also because she rose above so many limitations.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I value spending time with my husband and children, and, when I have the time, I enjoy art, traveling, cooking (and eating!) and gardening.
IF YOU HADN’T BECOME A LAWYER, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE? I would have been an architect.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG LAWYERS? Don’t underestimate the value of humility in the practice of law, whether before a judge, advising a client, working with a colleague or negotiating with your adversary.
