PRACTICE AREAS: Personal injury litigation
LAW SCHOOL: Saint Louis University
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT? I am not sure if it is the greatest, but my most satisfying accomplishment is receiving a unanimous verdict awarding my clients every dollar that I asked for on a no-offer case.
WHO IS YOUR LEGAL HERO? My father. He is a man of very strong principles. He has taught me that the practice of law is a profession governed by a code of ethics first and only a business second.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? Most of my time away from work is spent playing with my family — riding bikes with my 8-year-old daughter, chasing my 4-year-old son and sipping wine with my wife.
IF YOU HADN’T BECOME A LAWYER, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE? I would have become a geneticist.
WHAT’S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU? I am a fourth-generation St. Louis attorney.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG LAWYERS? The legal community in which you practice is small. Your reputation will precede you. You do not have to be a jerk to staunchly advocate for your client.
