PRACTICE AREA: Health care

LAW SCHOOL: Saint Louis University

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT? My greatest accomplishment to date is simply reaching this juncture in my life and career. From Maplewood to the Air Force to health care lawyer, it’s been quite a ride. I’m excited to see what the future holds.

WHO IS YOUR LEGAL HERO? My heroes are the people who take courageous action not knowing that their acts will forever change the legal landscape. They witness or suffer injustice(s) and refuse to accept it. They stand up for what’s right when no one is looking and without any expectation of fame or acknowledgement; they simply do.

WHAT WAS YOUR LEAST-FAVORITE CLASS IN LAW SCHOOL? Let’s just say Administrative Law was my most favorite class to skip.

IF YOU HADN’T BECOME A LAWYER, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE? I would have probably been a psychologist. I find people and the things that make them tick fascinating.

WHAT’S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU? I think cupcakes should be a fundamental block in the food pyramid.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG LAWYERS? Do your best, pay attention, find a mentor/confidante with whom to talk and try to keep things in perspective.
