Judge Lynch to serve on board of National Court Organization

Judge Gary W. Lynch of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, has been selected to serve on the National Center for State Court’s Board of Directors.

Lynch will serve on the board for a three-year term.

He is immediate past president of the Council of Chief Judges of the State Courts of Appeal. He was appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals in 2006. Previously, Lynch served a three-year term as associate circuit judge of Polk County. He is also actively involved in the Missouri Supreme Court’s efforts to promote civics education and to reengineer its court automation.

The National Center for State Courts is a nonprofit court organization “dedicated to improving the administration of justice by providing leadership and service to the state courts,” a press release said. The release says that the organization provides education, training, technology, management and research services to the nation’s state courts.
