Elections : Initiative Petition – Constitutionality

Stephanie Maniscalco//September 19, 2014

Where teachers sought to reverse the certification of an initiative petition regarding teaching employment and evaluations, the teacher-appellants did not show that the petition would impact existing collective bargaining agreements, and they also did not show a violation of the single-subject rule, so the trial court did not err in refusing to reverse the certification.

Judgment is affirmed.

Kuehner v. Kander (MLW No. 66961/Case No. WD77899 – 14 pages) (Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, Newton, J.) Appealed from circuit court, Cole County, Green, J.
