Greg Kratofil has focused his legal career on the fast-paced technology industry, particularly those companies that are forming from the ground up. Fifteen years ago, he helped establish Polsinelli’s science and technology practice with his work in information security and health care information technology.
He was also instrumental in helping to bring the super-high-speed Internet project Google Fiber to the Kansas City region, and he serves as local counsel for the project.
In 2009, Kratofil co-founded KCnext, which promotes and develops the area’s information technology community. He also helped develop the Entrepreneurs Speakers Program through the University of Missouri-Kansas City Institute for Entrepreneurship, and he acts as a mentor to teams participating in the Sprint Accelerator program, a technology company incubator powered by Techstars.
