Criminal Law : Sentencing – Prior Convictions – Iowa Law

Where a defendant had prior convictions for domestic abuse assault and assault while displaying a weapon, the convictions were crimes of violence under Iowa law, so the district court did not err in determining the defendant’s base offense.

Judgment is affirmed.
