Langdon & Emison has added two associates to the firm’s Lexington office.
Michael Serra joins from Kansas City firm Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice, where he practiced for four years as a litigation associate. He focused his practice in the areas of product liability, premises liability, financial litigation and automotive litigation.
Serra managed a broad spectrum of lawsuits for Baker Sterchi clients, from pre-suit investigation to final disposition as counsel for both the defense and plaintiff. He has extensive experience preparing witnesses for depositions, conducting depositions and defending depositions of various categories of witnesses from corporate representatives to expert witnesses.
Brennan Delaney joins Langdon & Emison after practicing nearly two and half years as an associate attorney at Douthit Frets Rouse Gentile & Rhodes, where he focused primarily on plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, including cases that involved catastrophic injury and wrongful death. As an associate, Delaney served as second chair during the trial of a slip-and-fall case that ultimately resulted in a $5.9 million judgment.
Prior to Douthit Frets, he spent four years serving as a law clerk: two years for Missouri Supreme Court Judge Zel M. Fischer and two years for former Jackson County Circuit Judge Michael W. Manners.
