Chris Finney, 32
TRIAL ATTORNEY, FINNEY LAW OFFICE, ST. LOUIS
Practice area: Personal injury
Law school: Saint Louis University
Since leaving the St. Louis Circuit
Attorney’s Office for his family’s law
firm, Chris Finney is often face-to-face
with the biggest law firms in
the area. He also often comes out on
top. As a trial attorney, Finney has
been known to receive seven-figure
settlements for his clients.
Recently, he obtained a $2.45
million settlement in Avalos v. Britt,
which helped a family recover after
a father of six children died in a
motor vehicle crash.
Finney takes many cases involving immigrants and has been involved
with Friends of Immigrants and Refugees of St. Louis for many years. His
involvement goes beyond representing his clients in court. He often helps
clients navigate unfamiliar territory as newcomers to the United States. His
work has reunited family members, helped them secure housing, pay off
bills and more.
