Criminal Law : Investigative Stop – Protective Frisk

Where a defendant challenged an officer’s decision to make an investigative stop and to conduct a protective frisk, the officer stopped the defendant and a companion because they were walking in a circle, attempting to avoid contact with police in a high crime area and they matched the description of the occupants of a stolen truck, and the district court did not err in concluding that the totality of the circumstances presented the officer with reasonable suspicion for the stop and frisk.

Judgment is affirmed.
