Criminal Law :Felony Murder –  Instructions

Stephanie Maniscalco//June 6, 2018

Where a defendant challenged her convictions including second-degree felony murder and armed criminal action, the convictions are reversed and remanded for a new trial because the verdict director omitted several elements of the underlying crime, mandatory definitions in the object and attempt crimes, and the basis for criminal responsibility under accessory liability, and these elements were in dispute, so the manifest injustice resulted.

Judgment is reversed and remanded.
