If Angela L. Drumm hadn’t become a lawyer, she said she likely would still be working in the same industries in which she operates today — finance and real estate.
She was drawn to law when she took a business law class in college. “It was the intellectual challenge coupled with the opportunity to work in the financial and real estate industries with other bright community leaders that solidified my desire to become an attorney,” she said.
Drumm said her favorite part of being an attorney is seeing the tangible results of her transactional work in her community.
What is your favorite thing to do away from work?
I love partaking in fitness activities and spending time with family and friends. Moreover, I love combining the two. I often go on trips with my girlfriends to run half-marathons in different cities.
What is something that would surprise people about you?
I was one of the first girls on my high school’s wrestling team. I was told that I could only be on the team if I made it through “hell week” — the first week of training. I did it and survived the rest of the season on the mats.
