Law School: Saint Louis University
If Casey Wong had not gone into the practice of law, he might have been a philosopher.
Wong graduated from the University of Notre Dame Program of Liberal Studies, which the university describes as having its roots in the Great Books movement, with an emphasis on imbuing students with a broad intellectual background and critical-thinking skills. From that program, Wong said it was a natural progression to studying the law.
After graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he received a full-ride merit scholarship, he joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard. He serves on the firm’s Recruiting, Diversity and Appellate Practice committees.
Wong also serves as an alderman for the city of Sunset Hills and is a member of the city’s Public Works Committee. He says using his legal skills in his elected capacity has resulted in some of his favorite moments as an attorney.
