The 21st Circuit Judicial Commission is accepting applications for two circuit judge vacancies to be created by the impending retirements of Judges Michael T. Jamison and Gloria Clark Reno.
The commission plans to conduct public interviews for both vacancies on Dec. 5 and 6 at the St. Louis County Court Building in Clayton. Applications are due Nov. 1.
The first panel of three finalists will be chosen to succeed Jamison, who was appointed as an associate circuit judge in 1997 and elevated to the circuit bench in 2005.
Following the governor’s appointment, the commission will reconvene to select nominees to succeed Reno, who was appointed as an associate circuit judge in 2002 and to the circuit bench in 2009.
