Appellate Practice: Inadequate Brief-Pro Se Appellants

Staff Report//November 12, 2019//

Listen to this article

Where the brief of pro se appellants did not contain a fair and concise statement of facts, did not set forth a standard of review under each claim of error and the points relied on were confusing and failed to present legal arguments for reversal, the brief failed to meet the mandatory briefing standards of Rule 84.04, so the brief must be dismissed.

Appeal is dismissed.
