McDowell Rice names firm officers for 2020

McDowell Rice Smith & Buchanan re-elected Kristie Remster Orme as president, and R. Pete Smith as chairman of its board of directors at the firm’s 2020 annual meeting.
Thomas R. Buchanan and Greg T. Spies were re-elected to the board of directors, and Susan Saper Galamba was newly elected to the board.
The firm also said Thomas R. Buchanan will continue to serve as its general counsel in 2020, while Orme will remain as associate general counsel. Charles W. Smiley will remain as the firm’s secretary, and Ronald S. Bronstein will remain as treasurer and assistant secretary.
The firm also elected Ania Wlodek Moncrief as a shareholder. She is a member of the banking and financial services, and litigation and dispute resolution practice groups.
