2021 Unsung Legal Heroes: Chloe Burkhead

Administrative Support Specialist: Legal Administrative Assistant, Kennyhertz Perry

chloe-burkheadChloe Burkhead’s nominator describes her as “the person that handles everything the lawyers and paralegals here don’t.”

It’s an extensive list: coordinating the attorneys’ calendars, answering phones, managing client relations, handling the firm’s marketing and social media and working closely with clients to ensure payment on outgoing bills.

“Chloe always remains positive and professional in everything she does with us… which is A LOT,” the nominator wrote.

What led you to choose a career in the legal field?

I was working as an assistant manager in men’s fashion when I was introduced to John Kennyhertz, managing partner at Kennyhertz Perry, by a mutual acquaintance. I was looking for a new career path and John had a position available.

What is the best part of your job?

John Kennyhertz and Braden Perry have created such a unique work environment unlike any other law firm. It’s approachable and welcoming, but also full of an incredible team that’s hard-working, ambitious, well-educated in the legal field and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. I truly enjoy coming into work each day and being part of the Kennyhertz Perry team.

What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“If you are going to work, you might as well work hard.” It sounds pretty straightforward but it’s always stuck with me. Whether it is your dream job or a part-time job, you might as well give it 100 percent each day.

What is something that would surprise people about you?

I took a year off in 2019 and lived overseas in Moscow, Russia.
