What led you to choose a career in the legal field?
I had been working part-time in a job-share position for a telecommunications company and was looking for a full-time position as my youngest child was about to start school. A friend asked if I would be interested in a full-time opening at her firm. It was a new industry for me in a really interesting role, so how could I refuse? Years later, we still work together.
What is the best part of your job?
I love that my days are rarely the same and there is always a chance to learn something new. And of course, I would be remiss if I did not call out all the AMAZING people I work with who always take the time to help me learn and grow.
What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You are human and you will make a mistake. When you do, own your mistake, learn from it and move on.
