The POWER List: Deborah C.M. Henry

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Deborah Henry served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force and in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. From 1989 to 2015 she was with Stewart, Mittleman, Heggie & Henry, before joining her current firm.

Deborah C.M. HenryHenry’s practice focuses on general litigation with an emphasis in family law, including dissolutions, child custody and support, paternity, adoption and juvenile matters. She practices alongside her daughter, Katherine E. Henry, and she is married to retired St. Louis County Judge Douglas Beach.

In 2015, she received Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s Father William McCalpin Pro Bono Award, which recognized her work as a conservator in adult-abuse cases.

She also is also a founder of the Hispanic Bar Association of St. Louis. She earned her law degree in 1989 from Saint Louis University. She also holds a master of arts in management from Webster University.
