Larry Swall is a leader in using mediation to solve clients’ disputes and minimize harm to children.
He is a past president and founding member of the Missouri chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He also served on the board of the International Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, as well as a member of the American Bar Association’s family law section and of the Association of Conflict Resolution.
He is also on the board of Overcoming Barriers, an organization providing services to families torn apart by family conflict.
Swall is a former chair of The Missouri Bar’s family law section and has served on numerous committees of The Missouri Bar. He helped to pass laws governing child custody, family support and privacy for family law litigants.
In 2009, Swall received both The Missouri Bar’s Roger P. Krumm Family Law Award and the President’s Award for service to the bar. He is a member of the Missouri Supreme Court’s child support guideline review committee.
Swall earned his law degree in1990 from the University of Kansas.
