Many attorneys write books to help potential clients understand their area of the law, but few are as memorably titled Susan Saper Galamba’s “Don’t Burn the Underwear.”
The self-help book aimed at those going through a divorce is one of many ways Galamba helps clients navigate the emotional and financial issues that arise when a marriage ends.
She is the co-chair of McDowell Rice’s family law and divorce practice group, which specializes in representing high-net-worth dissolutions and other complex matters ranging from property division and valuation of businesses to child custody and pre- and postnuptial agreements. She also is a member of the McDowell Rice’s executive board.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and International Academy of Family Lawyers. She also completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy/American Bar Association Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and is a trained mediator and arbitrator. She earned her law degree in 1990 from Georgia State University.
