Attorneys can now apply to be appointed contract counsel on criminal cases for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Applications for the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel or the related mentee panel are due July 6.
Applications from attorneys who have not previously served on the panel must be emailed to Clerk of Court Gregory J. Linhares at [email protected] The new panel term begins in October.
Existing CJA Panel attorneys have a separate application process. More information can be found on the court website at https://www.moed.uscourts.gov/criminal-justice-act-cja. Questions can be directed to Betty Ann Skrien at [email protected].
