Office Manager: Firm Manager, Kennyhertz Perry
Kelly Garrity Bieri practiced law for 15 years before she became firm manager of Kennyhertz Perry.
She practiced at Shook, Hardy & Bacon and focused on pharmaceutical and medical device product liability, general tort, as well as reinsurance and insurance coverage litigation.
She attended the same law school as her grandfather and her father.
“My father is a lawyer and I wanted to be like him,” Bieri said.
Bieri does a little bit of everything at the firm, from administrative tasks to providing legal support for attorneys. She said she has helped implement processes and systems for employee onboarding, case management and other areas of the firm.
Bieri also coordinates the firm’s complex litigation in addition to overseeing administrative functions and staff.
What is the best part of your job?
I genuinely enjoy my coworkers. I laugh every day and I always look forward to being in the office. It’s a great atmosphere full of smart and hardworking people.
What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be the person with the solution. Do the hard thing first thing in the day.
What is something that would surprise people about you?
Before taking on this role, I practiced law for 15 years. I am pretty decent at playing Ms. Pac Man.
