Firm Administration: Senior Litigation Paralegal/Office Manager, Cosgrove Law Group
Sheila Carroll has had a long and varied career. Even so, her 13 years with Cosgrove Law Group have helped her grow as an employee and a manager.
“My roles here have stretched me in every direction and I have learned to lean in to the challenges,” she said.
Carroll has extensive experience with compliance and auditing procedures, securities regulation, and consumer relations practices. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for financial firms in the St. Louis area and served as an investigator for both the Missouri Secretary of State’s Securities Division and the Missouri Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University and her master’s degree from Columbia College.
Her job now ranges from working on client matters to handling the day-to-day firm management tasks.
“My role as lead paralegal support during arbitration hearings is my favorite as I have learned how to manage hearing preparation and the many late nights during a hearing to maintain momentum and focus for our team,” she said.
