St. Louis family law firm merges with men’s divorce defense firm

Cordell & Cordell absorbed The Hais Group into its St. Louis-area office on Aug. 2.

Susan Hais will serve as of counsel at Cordell & Cordell and continue her work in complex divorce litigation, including evaluations of complex financial interests and tax issues to child custody and support cases. She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University.

She and Sam Hais, a former St. Louis County family court judge, are the husband and wife team who founded The Hais Group more than 25 years ago. Partner Dzenana Delic and attorneys Josh Renbarger and Michael Sloane follow Hais in her relocation to the Cordell & Cordell headquarters in Town & Country, Missouri.

Delic earned her admittance to The Missouri Bar in 2012. Renbarger earned his law degree from Indiana University in 2006. Sloane earned his law degree from the University of North Dakota in 2017.

Cordell & Cordell’s 300-plus attorneys are spread across the United States and the United Kingdom, specializing in domestic litigation for men undergoing divorce.
