Tom Robbins represents clients in highly regulated industries, such as cannabis, gambling, alcohol, energy and insurance. His clients include the Missouri Medical Cannabis Trade Association, as well as Legal Missouri 2022, which successfully campaigned for the recreational marijuana constitutional amendment that voters approved in November.
He also covers areas including campaign finance law, tort reform, criminal justice and government procurement issues.
Robbins is a partner for Strategic Capitol Consulting in Chesterfield, founded by former Missouri House Speaker Steve Tilley. Robbins also runs the Robbins Law Firm in St. Louis County, though his law license was suspended from 2012 to 2020 after he pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance and attempting to deliver a controlled substance in a correctional facility.
Robbins earned his law degree in 2005 from the University of Missouri.
