Maddie McMillian Green has been named deputy attorney general for policy in the Missouri Attorney General Office.
Under previous Attorney General Eric Schmitt, McMillian Green was the assistant attorney general for special litigation. She also was the Hope Initiative’s lead attorney, which fights human trafficking in Missouri. In her new role, McMillian Green leads the office’s policy, legislation and outreach efforts.
McMillian Green earned her law degree from the University of Missouri in 2021. Before joining the AGO, she held multiple leadership roles in the Missouri Governor’s Office.
