Gov. Mike Parson on Jan. 27 named three judges across the state.

In St. Louis County, Parson elevated Judge Nicole S. Zellweger to the circuit bench. Zellweger, currently an associate circuit judge, fills the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Renee Hardin-Tammons to the Court of Appeals Eastern District.

Zellweger was nominated for the role in December, along with fellow Judges John R. Lasater and Jeffrey P. Medler. She earned her law degree in 2004 from Washington University and also holds a Master of Arts from Yale University Divinity School.

Parson also named Daniel R. Wichmer as a circuit judge in Greene County. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Jason R. Brown. He was nominated in December along with attorneys Ann Mills and Kevin James Rapp.

Wichmer currently serves as the executive director of Legal Services of Southern Missouri. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri.

Additionally, the governor elevated Judge Shannon R. Dougherty to the Jefferson County circuit bench,  filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Troy Cardona.

Dougherty is currently an elected associate judge in that circuit. She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University.
