Zach Bickel is managing partner of the Robertson Law Group, where he and fellow POWER honoree Susan Ford Robertson have taken on some of the most complex appeals in the state.
He represented the Ford Motor Company in a product liability suit springing from an explosion that injured a man and killed a state trooper. The appeals court reversed the case twice before it was resolved. He also handled a wrongful death lawsuit against a tobacco company.
He also made his way to the Missouri Supreme Court in 2019 over the venue for litigation against a talcum powder manufacturer.
Bickel is a past chair of the Jackson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) board of directors and The Missouri Bar’s Civil Practice and Procedure Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee to Study Court Costs. He also has served on a past iteration of the Judicial Performance Evaluation Committee.
Bickel earned his law degree from the University of Missouri in 2006.
