Robertson Law Group, Kansas City
Susan Ford Robertson continues to lead her firm that doubles down on appellate work.
Robertson and fellow POWER honoree Tom Weaver of Armstrong Teasdale’s Missouri Supreme Court won in the case that set the precedent for how to determine venue for mass tort cases against out-of-state corporations initiated in Missouri.
In 2012, Robertson was the first woman attorney from Missouri to be elected to the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. She is a past chair of its rules committee and The Missouri Bar’s litigation division.
Robertson is a senior fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and the American Institute of Appellate Practice. She is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. She earned her degree in 1986 from the University of Missouri.
