Ken Vuylsteke has focused his extensive trial practice representing plaintiffs in cases that include medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and defective medical devices, among other things.
He is a former president of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and was a chair of its HMO health law committee, as well as the medical-legal committee for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
In 2003 and 2004, he served as a commissioner on the Missouri Commission on Patient Safety. He also has published articles on medical ethics and served as an instructor in the humanities department at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Vuylsteke has been an adjunct professor of law at Saint Louis University, is a 1986 winner of the Lon O. Hocker Award and has served on the board of governors of the American Association for Justice.
He earned his law degree from Washington University in 1980.
