Health care providers who go to Mark Goran benefit from his deep experience in both regulatory and transactional work.
Goran specializes in developing and carrying out alignment strategies for health care providers in transactions and business relationships. He has brought together physician organizations, hospitals, health systems and long-term care providers.
Goran earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1974. Now a shareholder at Polsinelli, he has practiced there since 2012. He previously led Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s life sciences and health care group before he and six attorneys from the group joined Polsinelli.
Among the health care law attorneys that Goran has mentored is fellow POWER honoree and Polsinelli colleague Jane Arnold.
Goran also advises clients dealing with regulatory matters before the Internal Revenue Service, the Office of the Inspector General and the Department of Health and Human Services. He also handles joint ventures, affiliations, corporate structuring and governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
