Peezy Mullins has spent more than two decades as a defense attorney with an emphasis in health care law.
Mullins frequently represents nursing homes and long-term care facilities from personal injury claims alleging negligence on the part of staff. Her practice also includes handling employment law matters for health care employees and management; representing health care providers in licensure and discipline matters; and helping health care facilities with regulatory compliance.
She has served as the state membership chair for Missouri’s chapter of DRI, where she has been part of committees focusing on women in the law and employment law. She also has taught commercial and health care law courses as an adjunct professor for Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
Mullins earned her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1999. Before joining Bautista LeRoy as of-counsel in 2021, she was with Foland, Wickens, Eisfelder, Roper & Hofer for more than 20 years.
