Fred Strasheim has a national mergers and acquisitions practice and co-chairs Thompson Coburn’s corporate and securities practice group alongside fellow POWER honoree Michelle Kloeppel.
Strasheim has more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, commercial law and general corporate representation. He serves clients across multiple industries including chemicals, packaging, energy, consumer products and heavy industry. His clients range from family-owned businesses to Fortune 100 companies with transactions between a few million to a few billion dollars.
Strasheim joined Thompson Coburn in 2006 as a partner after working at Oppenheimer Wolf & Donnelly, Kutak Rock and Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin.
In 2011, he co-led the team that advised investment firm Forsyth Capital Investors in its $16.4 million acquisition of Baldwin Technology.
He was named to The Missouri Bar’s 2012 Pro Bono Hall of Fame. Strasheim earned his law degree from the University of Chicago in 1992.
