Kirstin Salzman leads Husch Blackwell’s corporate team as well as its securities and corporate governance teams. She guides clients through mergers and acquisitions and advises on a number of other complex contractual arrangements. Salzman recently led a team that represented Centerline Communications LLC in its sale to Audax Private Equity, as well as Centerline’s acquisition of the network infrastructure firm Maicom LLC.
She’s also represented AMC Theatres in multiple transactions, including its $1.1 billion stock and cash acquisition of Carmike Cinemas and its $1.2 billion acquisition of Odeon & UCI Cinemas.
Salzman is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s securities law section, the American Health Law Association, the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Society of Corporate Securities & Governance Professionals. She also serves as board president of the Saint Luke’s Foundation and is on the corporate committee of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
She earned her law degree from Northwestern University in 1995.
