Mike McCann has represented regional companies through mergers, acquisitions and business decisions.

McCann co-chairs the firm’s business transactions practice group.

He represented Boulevard Brewing Company in its sale to Belgium-based independent craft brewer Duvel Moortgat. It was the largest craft brewer transaction at the time and the first international purchase of a domestic craft brewer. He has assisted at least six other craft breweries in transactions with Duvel Moortgat, Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors.

McCann customizes his services to the needs of his clients. He guides them through mergers and acquisitions as well as private placements, venture capital and private equity investments, traditional debt financing and other types of financing.

He represented a private media company’s $350 million sale of cable TV systems in multiple states. He also represented TouchNet Information Systems in its $375 million sale to Heartland Payment Systems.

McCann earned his law degree from the University of Kansas in 1990.
