The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis held its annual Law Day celebration May 1 at the Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis. Law Day underscores how law and the legal process contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share.

The event includes an award ceremony and the swearing-in of the incoming Board of Governors. This year’s Law Day featured a keynote address by Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and remarks from BAMSL President Anne-Marie Brockland. Missouri Supreme Court Judge Mary R. Russell received the organization’s Distinguished Lawyer Award.
