“Blitz, Bardgett & Deutsch, L.C. wouldn’t exist without Cindy Stephens,” her nominator said.

Since the firm’s inception, Stephens-Miller has “performed all of our accounting and financial bookkeeping, handled all of our staff and attorney hiring, managed our IT systems, coordinated each of our office moves, led our marketing and social media efforts and handled anything ever required day in and day out.”

She was often the only person in the office at the height of the pandemic and regularly brought mail and documents to attorneys’ homes.

What is something that would surprise people about you?

I’m thrilled to have my own personal space, which I lovingly refer to as my “she shed.” It’s where I indulge in my crafting hobbies, particularly scrapbooking and card making. Recently, I joined a women-only Jeep group, and Cindy Lou Who – my bright yellow Jeep – and I are having a blast.

What is the best part of your job?

I am blessed with great staff and attorneys to work with.
