Dixon named to Jackson County Family Court

Listen to this articleThe judges of the Jackson County Circuit Court on Nov. 17 appointed Michelle Dixon as the circuit’s newest family court commissioner.
Dixon will hear juvenile matters at the Family Justice Center in the newly created Division 45. The family court now has four commissioners and a family court administrative judge.
Dixon had been a staff attorney with the Office of Guardian ad Litem since 2020 and previously was in private practice as the founding and managing attorney of MP Law from 2010 to 2020. She earned her law degree from the University of Kansas.
