Mike Whittle represents the St. Louis Cardinals on all legal matters, driven by his “passion for baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals.” He led the financing, design and construction of Busch Stadium and the development of Ballpark Village.
Whittle negotiated purchase, lease and sale agreements for the Springfield Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds, as well as lease and development agreements for Jupiter Stadium and the Baseball Training Complex.
He noted the 2006 and 2011 World Series Championships were his most memorable experiences. Whittle serves as a member of the Sports Lawyers Association and the MLB Club Working Group Committee. He also serves as the St. Louis Cardinals’ designated board member for the Hawthorn Foundation.
