Tim Sansone worked with the late Judge Paul Simon at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, during and after law school as an extern, intern and law clerk. Sansone said working for Simon “was like getting a fourth year of law school.”
He founded the firm’s 21-member Appellate & Complex Litigation Team in 2013 as a junior partner. In 2017, he received the Missouri Lawyers Media Legal Champion Award for Patterson v. Rough Road Rescue. In 2019, he secured reversal in Ingram v. Brook Chateau. As a shareholder, Sansone noted he spends much time mentoring newer attorneys.
He chaired the Missouri Bar Appellate Practice Committee from 2022 to 2025 and chairs his firm’s Professional Development Committee.
